Dungeons and Dragons: Gelatinous Cube Attack by Deimos-Remus Dungeons and Dragons: Gelatinous Cube Attack by Deimos-Remus
Since these are so much fun, I decided to do another one!

I still have a couple ideas for more as well.

Well done!

The Gelatinous Cube. Might as well call it a classic.

I'm reminded of that Nodwick comic in an issue of Dragon Magazine where the guys refer to some dungeon they've recently been to, and one of them (Yeagar I think) said it was nasty inside and that the occupying Wizard could at least have had the decency of having a couple of Gelatinous Cube around to clean thing up.

Haven't actually played much of the game, but I'm sure they are, haha. Thanks!

These are really awesome, love the setup for them. The style of this is seriously tempting me to draw up whole maps like this for an online game with my friends even though I wouldn't pull it off with nearly as much class. Can't wait to see more of your work, hard to believe I found such jawsomenes looking up old streetshark toys from nostalgia.

Man I would totally play a D&D video game that applied this kind of retro Erol Otis/1st edition cover art style meets Arcade tile platformer....lots come to mind like Data East's Dark Seal [link]

I need to play more old games, now that summer is coming up, I can do it a lot more!

By the way, not sure if I've brought this up or not, but have you ever played Capcom's Dungeons and Dragons games? Great beat-em-ups!

Oh of course! One of my all-time favorites, wish they made one more before they lost the license :-( I just reference Dark Seal cause your work reminded me more of that perspective gameplay, a tad more Gauntlet-like too.

Yeah, Capcom was the king of 2d games back then. Oh, Gauntlet for sure, haven't played much of them, but I see what you mean. :)
