Ghosts n Goblins: Grave Spirit

The Grave Spirits were like the Jester and magician in the other two games in the original GnG trilogy. They'd pop out of random Treasure chests you've opened and attempt to turn Arthur into a small defenseless animal, bug, baby.. even a Woman.

Anyway, I like how this guy turned out, he was actually the first one I had finished. I wanted to give him a very bird-like head, as opposed to the semi bird-like head in the game. I also wanted to give him a weapon or staff of sorts as the source of power for turning Arthur into said defenseless things. I took inspiration from Keith Thompson for the staff, and I'm pleased with how it looks. Also, as you can see, there's a crow on his shoulder, which was another enemy in the game, so I thought it'd be appropriate to pair these two, since they're both Birds.
