Despite Ganon and his sorcerers' vast knowledge of the natural and unnatural world, the labyrinths are home to a variety of undiscovered and rare monstrosities. One such creature has been dubbed the 'Like Like'; a rather bizarre and grotesque creature that resembles something along the lines of an underwater tunicate. Unlike tunicates however, the Like Like possesses a large number of crab-like legs, which can be heard scuttling across rocky cavern floors. The name Like Like comes from the gluttonous and 'un-picky' invertebrate's voracious appetite for anything living, dead or completely inanimate. For whatever reason, the Like Like particularly enjoys eating shields and weapons, perhaps because of the presence of metals, which digest slower in its highly acidic stomach than living material. Like Likes are more often seen in the darkest and most moisture-ridden sections of the underworld, their presence being associated with the sound of clacking steps, wet, suckling noises and a distinct pungent odor. If one is swallowed by one of these strange beasts, there's a small window of opportunity to kill it from within, usually by use of bladed weapons.
